Naturally, after setting, the concrete structure will expand and contract, as the result of varying levels of humidity and temperature. However, normally the concrete will contract after it is set and, therefore, any concrete structures may produce cracks at the earliest days after the construction is complete. Such cracks are irregular, inconsistent, and unattractive, as well as troublesome for maintenance thereafter. Note, most of the post-setting cracks will not affect the structural integrity.
Armour joint is a type of construction material specifically developed as the concrete joints that allow constructors to control the crack within the specified area. Therefore, the concrete floor will be regular, beautiful, and easy to maintain.
